Terms of Service

1. Agreement Overview

These Terms of Service (โ€œTermsโ€) govern your access to and use of the GSR ASEAN Agri Connect platform and related services. By registering as a farmer or buyer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

You must be a registered business or authorized representative capable of entering binding contracts. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, safeguarding login credentials, and ensuring that any team members who access the platform comply with these Terms.

3. Marketplace Use

The platform facilitates B2B transactions between agricultural producers and buyers. We do not take ownership of goods listed. Users must post truthful product information, honor confirmed orders, and communicate promptly about availability, logistics, and documentation.

4. Farmer (Seller) Obligations

Farmers must comply with product safety standards, provide export-ready documentation when applicable, and ship goods within the agreed timelines. All produce must meet the quality specifications communicated to buyers.

5. Buyer Obligations

Buyers are responsible for verifying product specifications before confirming an order, arranging payment according to agreed milestones, and providing feedback on delivery or disputes within reasonable timeframes.

6. Orders, Payments & Fees

Order values, payment schedules, and platform fees are communicated at checkout. Unless otherwise agreed, payments are processed through approved payment partners. Late or failed payments may lead to account suspension.

7. Compliance & Prohibited Conduct

All users must comply with applicable trade, export, customs, and food safety regulations. Prohibited conduct includes fraudulent listings, bypassing the platform to avoid fees, misusing user data, or attempting to compromise platform security.

8. Data & Privacy

We process business contact data, transaction records, and communications to operate and secure the marketplace. Learn how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.

9. Liability & Dispute Resolution

The platform is provided โ€œas is.โ€ To the fullest extent permitted by law, ${SITE_CONFIG.shortName} is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from transactions initiated on the platform. Parties should attempt to resolve disputes directly; unresolved disputes may be escalated through our support team.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of these Terms, suspected fraud, or legal compliance reasons. You may close your account at any time, but outstanding obligations will survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect regulatory changes or new features. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
